Set against Korea's old palaces, ‘Genre Painting for All’ was created with the hope that anyone could enjoy creating genre painting characters and communicate with the stories within.

This fall, we're launching the 4th edition of 'Genre Painting for All' thanks to everyone's continued love and support!

Just as Kim Hong-do of the Joseon Dynasty captured a variety of human figures in his genre paintings, you too can create paintings of small things in your daily life.

Guide to using Genre Painting for All

For the fun of content and freedom of expression, the drawings of Genre Painting for All did not follow the traditional Hanbok clothing rules and allowed hairstyles and costumes to be combined regardless of age or gender.

Feel free to create images with various combinations, decorate them freely,

upload them to social media, or use them as profile photos!

However, images of everybody's genre painting cannot be used for commercial purposes(goods production, etc.), and even for non-commercial purposes, use is restricted if the scope of use goes beyond personal use(display, distribution, etc.).
