Awakening the Morning Palace

“Awakening the Morning Palace” is a walking program that offers a slow stroll with a guide through the Secret Garden of Changdeokgung Palace to appreciate the morning scenery when the palace is imbued with colors of the fall season.

The gates of Changdeokgung Palace are open early in the morning for an exclusive walk along the trees and the patterns in the palace that have long protected the palace.

Author Lee Si-woo's “Autumn Tree Walk in Changdeokgung” and historical commentator Ahn Ji-young's “Auspicious Pattern Walk in Changdeokgung” will be great opportunities to experience the deeper fall season of the palace.

We hope that this refreshing walk along the trees and patterns in the empty morning palace leaves an unforgettable memory.
