Palace Concert – Ballet x Sujecheon

A crossover performance of Korean traditional music and ballet in the couryard of Jipokjae Hall, Gyeongbokgung Palace

- A proven esteemed performance sold out all sessions for two consecutive years

- A classical fusion of East and West performed by K-Arts Ballet Company and Korean music masters (70 minutes)

- From classical ballet to contemporary ballet, the “heavenly melody” of “Sujecheon” to the beloved gayageum masterpiece “Chimhyangmu,” this performance showcases the essence of Eastern and Western art.

- This concert does not provide commentary. (English commentary is not available).

This fall, Sujecheon and ballet reunite at Gyeongbokgung Palace to showcase the classical of today.

The Palace Concert works to expand the outreach of traditional culture and public communication with not only traditional arts performances, but also various genres such as pop music, Western music, and modern dance against the backdrop of Korea’s beautiful palaces and nature.

This fall, a collaboration between Sujecheon, Korean royal court music, and ballet, a Western court dance, unfolds once again in front of Jipokjae Hall of Gyeongbokgung Palace. The sight of ballerinas swaying in the air to the melodies of Korean royal court musicians will be an unforgettable spectacle under the moonlight at the Palace.
