Daehan Imperial House Program: Jagyeongjeon Hall Imbued with Filial Piety

2024 Fall K-Royal Culture Festival

Daehan Imperial House Program: Jagyeongjeon Hall Imbued with Filial Piety

Jagyeongjeon Hall of Gyeongbokgung Palace means “appreciate the blessings of one's mother,” and was built by Emperor Gojong for his adoptive mother, Queen Mother Sinjeong of the Pungyang Jo clan, when he restored Gyeongbokgung Palace in 1867.

“Jagyeongjeon Hall Imbued with Filial Piety,” a program organized by the Daehan Imperial House, continues the tradition of reverence and unity through exhibitions and demonstrations regarding the lives of the Joseon and Joseon Imperial families.

Join us this fall at Gyeongbokgung Palace as we explore the daily life of Emperor Gojong as a devoted son.
