Part 2: Banquet

The banquet featured a combination of elements of traditional Korean and Western cultures, and performances were also held for the guests. In addition to the marching and dancing music performed by a modern military band, splendid and dynamic traditional Korean performances such as geommu (sword dance, which was a royal court dance), sajachum (lion dance, where performers appear wearing lion masks), and pogurak (a performance where a ball is thrown into a hole), left the foreign diplomats in awe.
